Why do I need help from Better Access UK?

Do people need to visit your premises to access your services or take part in your activities?

People who have difficulty accessing premises are unlikely to return, and they will tell their family, friends and colleagues about it. Some may complain and some may even take legal action.

Did you know that there are over 10 million disabled people in Britain?

That’s a lot of people with a lot of spending power, all sorts of people that could be your customers and service users.

Do you know the law expects you to take reasonable steps to remove barriers to accessing your services?

If you operate within the UK, the Equality Act 2010 expects you to consider the needs of a wide range of people and take reasonable steps to remove barriers they may face. If you don’t, you may be leaving yourself wide open to a legal challenge from anyone who has protection under the law.
